Greetings,
So Im basically using the hibernation period (the next six months or so) as an 'improvement' period for the NSX. I purchased it last month. The current shock/strut setup (wheels are also stock) is from the factory and the car has over 100k miles. Time to upgrade.
Im looking to change them along with some new shoes and brakes maybe. Im not looking to build this car for track use but I am looking to drop it a couple inches with a 17/18 (havent decided on wheels yet) setup. I know I want coil overs but do the experts/seasoned owners here have any suggestions? Vendors/brands are all welcome please.
This is what I know about her so far suspension related:
- SoS adjustable anti-roll bars (seems its the only suspension upgrade the previous owner has made to date, I havent poked around underneath yet)
I live in the Chicagoland area so any decent INDY shop recommendations are also welcomed.
Ultimately the goal is to have a subtle cosmetic upgrade, improve the handling some and be able to still enjoy the drive where shes not bouncing around all over. She will probably never see track time FWIW.
I saw some good info here: https://www.nsxprime.com/wiki/Suspension
Just looking for suggestions from some of you now. Thank you
