I am one like you, don't really go "CRAZY" about the 02+ front, is cute but i wouldn't do that, yet the 91-01 rear drives me NUTS how outdated looks, doing the whole rear isn't cheap either.

Out of curiousity. What makes you think the Rear looks more outdated, compared to the front? If anything, the Pop-Up scream 80/90's ERA.

Did the OP ever get to completing the updates of 02 side and rear mods?

Was flicking through and thought I'd ask as it reminded me off how my car looked for years ... its now back in glorious Magnum Grey ...

My friends car (post 2) has also moved on as it now has the full 02 front end ..
