Since you asked...

I think they're horrible.

Watch this video when the doors are opened and the guy steps away for his own safety!

You mean the Photoshoped picture of vertical doors? It's not even real!

Boy, I feel dumb. LOL. Maybe that's why they look sleek to me. Hehe

LMBO!! Eeks... they look really cheap. BUT ... Wow, I love the rear of the Yellow. Sweet.

No one mentioned that you have to remove the front fender to change the gas shocks . I heard that they blow out every few months depending on how often you use that door.

:: not good :: I knew there would have to be some difficulties with them but I do think they look sweet (for a show or something) but not everyday use. Thanks y'all for your opinions (and that vid). Does anyone know what body modifications the Yellow had done to it (the rear spoiler). I love it!

Actually, I don't see it that way. He just opened the door and stepped back.

Yea, I don't like the way they open though. They should be motorized, not manual. Oh well.

yee hawww...

Mebbe this can give the gas-struts in the pseudo-Lambo doors less usage and longer life...

WOW... The Orange is OUTTASIGHT!!! Thansx for sharing!!

Ok guys here is the deal, go out to your nsx's and sit in the driver seat. swing the door open until the entire door panel clears the cars a pillar. That is how far you have to swing the door out before it can swing up. Otherwise when you swing it up the part that sticks out the furthest will hit your a pillar and tear up your door panel. I saw several cars at the last show with damage to the door panel from not opening the door far enough before going up. When you realize how far you have to swing the door out on the nsx before it can go up you can see what I mean.... its retarded. I was very disappointed when I realized this. I am still a fan of vertical doors on nsx's but I am still trying to figure out a way to do it and maintain the integrity of the car.

They already did that... it's called a Gallardo. :p

OMG HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

btw i love the gallardo

a thing to think about is, if you had the vertical doors, it also doubles as a good way to chop small yorkshire terriers in half or even your leg off if the gas strut fails

EEEKS!! LOL. I like the Murcielago MUCH better than the Gallardo.. Gallardo just seems too boxy to me.

p.s. thanks to AcuraNSXPilot for the info about veilside. I don't think I'd ever do it (I have this real keenness for stock and the originality of the NSX) but it's a neat thing to look at! A couple things I'd like to do (and learn MUCH more about) is in the performance area but I'm patient and only time will tell. I was about <this> close to trading in my 95 for a 2000 but my car got Keyed *UGH* about 4 months ago so I had to get the whole car repainted. But it was done by a gem artist! and it looks absolutely Fantastic so now I think I'm staying put. But I do like the rear spoiler of the newer models.
