Vinnys Side skirts?

Hello all,

Its been awhile since I have been back in a NSX community. There were these side skirts that were made by a guy in Delray Beach FL. I think they were Vinnys custom skirts that were flush with the upper air dam panel ( w/o the wide bodykit). The skirts look like the Marga Hills skirts but air flush in the rear with the lines. There is a picture of the skirts on SOS linked here:http://scienceofspeed.com/products/exterior_performance_products/NSX/Is_Impact/default.asp If anyone could help me find the skirts I would greatly appreciate it.

Warmest regards,
brian

If I'm not mistaken, Vinny MH replica skirts are not currently being made. I believe the molds were destroyed during the storms of last year. Some pairs have been for sale on an occassional basis in the NSXPrime For Sale Forum.

While I am a fan of the Vinny skirts (I have a set myself), I would consider the above mentioned Stacy sideskirts. I have heard positive feedback on quality, fit, and appearance.

Hey,

I just ordered a set from vinny last week after speaking with him.

Really?! That's interesting...I tried to order some from him several weeks ago but he stopped replying to my e-mails. How much did they cost? Do you have a number where I might be able to reach him? If so PM me.

Totally off topic here but is that MJ(Michael Jordan) in your avatar?
I'm a huge fan of his.

That is a nice looking lifesize poster of Michael Jordan you are standing next to Brian. I had my picture taken with David Hasselhoff, very realistic!

I am just kidding, that is really MJ with Brian. He is a ball boy for the Orlando Magic Basketball team so he has tons of basketball photos.

Back on the topic can we get more information about Vinny's side skirts. I would also like to get a set. I like the Stacey's and they are very clean but $850 is a bit too much. Wings West has just closed down the factory so their skirts are now discontnued.

Can anyone find a good set of side skirts for a decent price?

LOL,LOVE the comment "Evolution".Damn wasn't it !!!
One thing I can say is that they/all fiberglass skirts will need to be fitted to your car, just a question of how much fitting!
I too like Vinny's,I almost bought a set myself but decided I needed to try to build a set. What a lot of time,it made me respect the people out there who have built parts for these cars.Never in a million years would I have guessed the amount of work involved.

I have tooled up and fabricated many custom fiberglass parts over the years including the ground effects on my own car seen here. As Stacy mentioned, the amount of time and work it takes to create parts from scratch is unbelievable.

It is one thing to copy or "splash" somones existing design, a whole other to make something from nothing.

I have available the skirts and front front lower bumper you see on my car at very reasonable prices..I might even consider a deal for a group buy.

Not going to be sending my kid to college on the income from this project.

The skirts on my car were installed in about 2 hours, with NO BODYWORK and NO BLOCKSANDING.
They feature a full return under the car just like the factory skirt for a real clean look underneath (don't want to look bad at your local quick lube).

Close up pics can be seen in the Gallery under LQQKY.

Any questions give me a call 416 999-7332.
