Was there a Road Race thru Connecticut today?

Was there some kind of event or road race taking place today? On my way
home from work driving up 84E I saw all kinds of cars driving down 84W with
decals all over them. Some of the cars I saw Porsches, Vettes, Mustangs,
BMWs, an RX7, and the last car I saw was a red NSX with a huge wing on the
back.

Just curious if anyone knows if some event was taking place.

Yes! That's what it was.

After looking at www.onelapofamerica.com and the the links you posted
those are definitely the cars I saw. I have a feeling they were on their way
from NH to WV as I saw the cars around 6pm.
