Where are all the Production deliveries ??

maybe because we don't know what the run rate of actual private citizen orders is? what if it is just a trickle.....rather than than shuty the doors the factory is allowing dealer orders just to keep the presses going:confused:

i dunno. some of the corporate backed stores can afford to do it and dont care.

another reason some are sitting: who orders curva red with red leather interior and red calipers? (insert barf emoji)

He anyone here received a car spec' d with iron brakes yet? Curious to know how they brake.

When I placed my deposit at Esserman, out of Miami, they had 28 deposits ahead of me. If I waited for my turn, it would have been a January 2018 delivery. I gave up my spot since I found my build somewhere else. Just a lucky phone call. I was willing to wait. If someone wanted that spot, you would be number 18 on their list. They were expected to get about 2 (max) a month delivered.

right so it would be great to know the fate of all those early depositors...we at least know yours:biggrin:

if i was gonna buy one, that'd be it. love that colour combo. i reckon there's better deals to be had, but $25,000 off with 3 miles isn't bad...

The only better deal I know of is the one that went for dealer invoice so that the only thing the dealer made was the $2k holdback. This white one is also set up to take offers and the dealer probably has about $5-6k more room to play before hitting his invoice number.

its a lot higher than that. i looked up the invoice on our 199k build.

in true acura fashion, theres little profit in these cars.

Rene, I believe the break through number of 91 new NSX sold in the US was for April 2017.

The update:

The Specialist had not heard about the great sales month (crazy how they would not be connected to sales numbers).
The crashed car has not made it to Ohio yet.
Another car was crashed at the track with heavy underside damage. They are still trying to figure out if a local shop should repair it.
About a dozen folks have taken tours and it appears that folks are waiting for good weather to do the pilgrimage.
They believe that a steel rotor car may have been delivered at this point.
I let them know the NSX ramp up was much faster than the Ford GT situation (2 delivered in April, 7 total).
The NSX initial delay included limitations on access to parts, including the Cosworth heads.
The car with the dead tranny is all better. Sounds like an assembly issue, not a design issue as no other cars have failed.
He is looking into the items that were included in my windshield replacement that were not used when another member here had his done. Mine cost the insurance company over twice what the other one came to.
The Specialists will be able to attend NSXPO.
There should be a couple of high profile placements for the NSX in the coming months (think movies).

I just returned from the nsx experience. One word....amazing. I did the two day event. The 4 hours track time was great. Drove a Seinfeld Nord Gray. Looked good in person. First time experimenting with track mode and launch control. Made me feel like a VIP..I guess if you can afford this, you are a VIP.
