Just got back from the Woodward Dream Cruise '08. Lots of cars and herds of people. The smell of exhaust fumes and the sounds of american V8s were the themes of the day. Seems like there were more spectators than last year and I was wise enough to avoid driving on Woodward Avenue this time (I was stuck in gridlock forever last year).

I'm not versed in classic american muscle cars so my photos are random mix mostly of the strange and unusual.

holy bunch of nice cars!!!!!

My buddy is up there in a hideous colored El Camino... i think it is lime greenish.... with 20" boyd wheels.... they finished it last night at about 8pm then got to Detroit about 8am.... doh....

thanks for the pics!!!!

I'll have my own pics up in the next day or two, once I get back to Traverse City and can edit and host them.

LOTS of people, but the number of cars seemed to be down.

Saw 4 different NSX's, but they were all red. Handful of F430's, a couple of Gallardo's, and 2 Audi R8's (god I love that car). Oh, and there was a silver S7-TT around 8:45pm just north of 14 Mile.

Still, it's always a good time. Soooooooooo many cars to see. I still prefer Meadowbrook and the NAIAS over this as my favorite auto shows, but it is still a very good time.

man, thanks for sharing! can't wait for my buddy to get back later tonight and see all of his pictures! first year in a while I haven't been able to make the trek up there...
