The rest of the crew is meeting up in Dulbin and we will drive to Stockton together from there. Leaving Dublin at 10am for Stockton. See below for info:

The final caravan meet-up spot will be Dublin. From Dublin, lets all head to Stockton together.
Exact location for Dublin sync up:

Directions from all Bay Area locations:
1. Get from where you are to I-580 East (heading to Stockton)
2. In Dublin/Pleasanton exit Hacienda Blvd
3. Go left (north) over the freeway. You are now on Hacienda.
4. Make right at the gas station (Shell, I think) into the shopping center/entrance toward movie theater. If you pass it, no biggie, just make the next right and head in the back entrance.
5. Go straight back to the end of the road. You will see Best Buy.
6. I will be waiting in the BB parking lot to the left of the store.

It takes about an hour to get to Stockton Acura from that location. We should leave Best Buy by 10am to be safe.

Those of you coordinating other caravan locations, please PM me with your cell phone number. I will PM you back with mine. That way, if one of the groups is missiing at Best Buy at 10am, I can call you.

At this time the Best Buy plan is to take the freeway to Stockton. If there is strong interest in a river run on the way up there, please speak up and someone volunteer to lead the group. At this time I still plan on taking the freeway, but if everyone wants to go the river route, I'll go the river route too.

I'm very familiar with that area so yeah Fantasia is fine with me (it's on the side near Hot Pot City) but are they open so early?

Since everyone is meeting in Dublin at 10 am, it takes us roughly 30 min to get to Dublin in no traffic from our Milpitas location since we'll just hop on 680. Knowing how everyone is usually a bit late though let's just say we meet at 8:45 am @ Fantasia and we'll hang out till about 9:15 waiting for everyone to arrive and then we can take off. I'll most likely be driving my yellow s2k so easy to spot me. But you guys have to take it easy for me to keep up ok! hahaha

The 580/205/5 route is often congested on Saturdays and is boring. How about 680 to 12 to Stockton?

Regardless, I'm doing a river run - perhaps 680, 4, 160, 12 then south into Stockton or 680, 4 into Stockton.

I agree with Ted, i just went down to Stockton of Acura yesterday to make sure they have enough parking for us. Took the 580/205/5 route twice this week, the other time was monday for my little cousin's grad, both time there were traffic on 205. Let's do the 680-4-160-12 route, maybe we can meet up somewhere along 680 instead of 580. How'bout 10am @ Target? Are the SF ppl coming too?

If we do not plan on going 580 to 5 route, we should meet at the Target right off of Ygnacio Valley Road in Walnut Creek. This way the people from San Francisco and East Bay can meet at Ikea in Emeryville and then caravan up to Target in Walnut Creek. The Southbay people can meet at Milpitas and then take 680 North and meet up in Dublin at Stoneridge and then head up together to Target in Walnut Creek. We can all leave from there and meet up in another spot around Antioch if necessary.

Charles, where should we all meet so you can lead us for the 680-4-160-12 route?

Yes, the 580 to 5 route is busy on 205 on weekdays. Weekends, not so much, but the 680 route sounds like a good way to go too. We can move the Dublin caravan from the Dublin BestBuy to the Target in Walnut Creek. That makes it easy for South, East and West/North Bay to meet in once place.

We should avoid Hwy 12. There is good chance we will get stuck behind a motor home or large SUV. Slow going and lots of rock chips.

If we go the River route and start on 680, how much time do we need to get up 680, connect to Hwy 4 East and make it to the dealership by 11:15?

You got me thinking here Jake

If there is an ideal spot in/around Stockton for a group picture besides the one at Acura of Stockton dealership, perhaps we can arrange for the CHP, city police or the Sheriff to escort the caravan to the picturesque location from where we can all depart our own ways back home.

From those who know the area and the locals, does anything come to mind? Think about the logistics of the travel route even with CHP escort (we don't want to disturb the local community too much) and also a place that can comfortably accommodate parking 70 NSXs.

Brookside... March lane W/O Interstate 5, Mallards Restaurant, Office Buildings.... Used to live there... Car clubs would stop at Mallards to eat..

Buckley Cove Marina.... End of March Lane at river W/O Interstate 5 (County Park charges parking)

Eight Mile W/O Interstate 5... New Shopping Center.. lots of open parking spaces
