Hi guys,
I have been experiencing a similar low idle issue when coming to a stop and letting of the clutch. I'm looking to clean my TB and have seen the NSXdriver article mentioned in several threads. I'm however not having much luck searching for the actual procedure to clean the TB on an OBD2...
Is the Zanardi Edition "Titanium" finish darker or lighter then the 2002+ "Aluminium" finish. I have been trying to judge by pics but it's hard to tell. In most pics it looks a lot more silver looking then the 2002+
My gut feeling would be that this issue is caused by the ignition. However given the number of people reporting issues with the main relay and how badly my unit was soldered I would not consider it a waste of time to fix even if it does not solve your problem. It's a quick and free repair.

While I had the rear trim panel off to resolder the main relay I noticed that the aluminum cover on the ECU rattles pretty bad under load. If I push down on the top left side the rattle goes away. Had not had a chance to really dig into it other then confirming that all of the cover screws were...

For the last 6 months I have had an intermittent problem where as the car was almost done warming up, the engine would die for about half a second. It would not happen every time I drove the car, and would only happen once if it did at all (usually under acceleration). The...
I would like to clean up some rim rash on on of my wheels, anyone know of a good place for rim repairs in the SF bay area, preferably in Oakland or the East Bay.
I use the OEM Acura car cover as a dust cover in my garage. It's breathable and fits well. However this cover would not be a good choice if you wanted to use it outside in the snow/rain as it is not very weather resistant.
Stephen,
Was this your front or back brakes. I am having the exact same symptoms on my 98 in the rear. However after poking around it seems like the 97+ don't use the pad spring (#16 from the diagram bellow, PN 43227-SL0-003) on the back brakes like the previous models...
Yes I DO have the retaining clips that Larry B & Daedalus are referring to on both calipers (PN 43244-SL0-J01) as well as the appropriate shim on on side of each of the four pads(OEM).
The part I am confused about is #16 from the diagram pasted by Larry B (PN 43227-SL0-003)...
I was referring to item #16 from the diagram bellow.

PN# 43227-SL0-003, which does not come up in the parts list when you restrict the...
I have a 98 that is making a slapping/clicking sound in the rear when going over bumps or transitions. When the brakes are applied the noise is not present. I took the car to my mechanic, after taking a quick look he said the problem was the fact that the pad springs between the caliper and the...
I do a fair amount of diving on the North Coast in california. Usually I camp and take the truck but several times I have stayed at a bed n' breakfast and took the NSX (I love driving up north along the coast). I was able to fit two aluminum 80 tanks in the back as well as all my dive gear. I...
Argh, COPS F'n suck
Ok, I know it's not the most mature thing to say but I have to vent today. Someone stole my registration sticker from my car (yes I should have slashed it) while I was at a wedding. Coming back from the wedding a cop pulls me over and performs a felony stop (for not having...
