It's a 540i with stiffer swaybars and a 6 speed manual. The manual is part of what led me to the car. I can't drive a car that won't let me row my own gears. The 540 gets me a RWD 6 speed V8 that isn't a corvette.

It depends. I know someone who has crammed a 225 onto a 4.5" rim. Not the prettiest thing in the world, but it worked and it was faster than 185's and 205's on the same rim.
