that is awesome!! takes a long time to really follow it, but worth the time. my email is filtered, but recently changed phones and it received raw email. I have many new nigerian friends and they are all so nice and generous. thanks for the fun.
Hey, also sorry to hear about your wreck. I have driven nsx's for 11 years as (mostly) daily drivers and probably have logged 150k. Never a wreck. BUT always extreme respect in the rain (like I'm the little old lady kind of respect). I have always felt that the NSX gets me out of more bad...
If anybody is parting out a car, I need a Trunk Release solenoid for my 2000. After 8 years, this is the ONLY thing on my car that does not function properly. Let's see you do that, Ford. Thanks for the help. reply to: [email protected]
My bearing is loud on the a/c tensioner and they are backordered to Japan by Acura with no eta. I am about to disconnect a/c but I thought I would check to see if anybody had one in good condition to sell. Dan
Welcome from me, as well. I have had a 2000 since it was a year old that I brought up from Miami. Prioir to that had a 1992. In driving NSX's for 10 years, I have never had a wreck. Yet over that time I wrecked 2 minivans- one spun out in the snow and one cut off by a semi. So, either I am...
I met Len a couple of times and just thought he was a really decent guy. Since I haven't hit the forums much, I missed that part so many of you shared. But he was a decent man and was clearly loved by his friends.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family and all of you on your loss.

A couple of months ago, I had a noise that sounds much like this, that started after replacing the timing belt. turned out to be the timing belt tensioner. got to drop the engine 2 times for failing to replace it with the timing belt. so, a word to the wise: if you are doing a timing belt...
ok, i am inclined to be in on this. I currently have stock exhaust on my 2000. What do i need in addition to this exhaust if I want to remove the cats? Are there other issues I will need to address due to backpressure changes?
Good Timing! I need a clutch in my 2000, anyway.
I am running on a dealer tag and not subject to emissions. Can you get in on this deal with complete exhaust removal including cats, or is it just cat back? Are there significant issues with removing the cats?
I have decided to change out my stock exhaust on my 2000 next week when I have the engine out for a clutch. After much research, I decided on RM Dual Tip (DTM) because of the sound and upwards curve of the tips. I called RM today to order it, and was advised that it has been discontinued for...
I took out my trunk carpet to clean it last week. I noticed a pair of unused connectors on the left rear under the carpet. One looks like a 13-pin changer connector and the other is maybe a 6 conductor power or speaker connector, taped together with the antenna control wire and clearly never...
OK!!! i have ordered a shop manual. this is my second nsx and i NEVER needed one before. (thanks to honda dependability)
thanks for all of the positive help. it is interesting that others have the same prob. dan
right, i have not needed a service manual to this point. but i intend to buy one. back to my question: has anyone been through similar problem or have any light to shed on it? thanks, dan
My 2000 (out of warranty) started with code 42 a couple of months ago and now has added code 66. These appear to be Rear primary and secondary HO2S heaters. The obvious solution is to replace at cost of $700. Questions: Can anyone verify the codes and parts so i don't order the wrong ones...
My 2000 does not much like winter. The TCS light comes on sometimes. When i reset the fuse, it may not come on for awhile...but then comes back on. How do i read out trouble codes?
lud, while posting a topic, i clicked on the spell-check button and received a message that the spell check subscription had not been renewed. my spelling is perty gud, but thought you might want to address. totally love the site. dan
FRONT RIGHT FENDER, SILVER, CLEAN $400. FRONT LEFT FENDER, SCRAPED ON LOWER FRONT SIDE (WILL NEED MINOR REPAIR) $200 OR $500 FOR BOTH. CONTACT [email protected]
Thank you so much for sharing the information. I jumpered the connector and it read out a code 66. That is a HO2 heater sensor. I priced it out ($280) and reset the ECU. So far, the light is not back on, but now i know what to do. Dan ([email protected])
