I'll add another possibility. I had a diesel-engine-like sound at idle from my Prelude last year which turned out to be due to a failing timing belt tensioner leaving the belt a little loose. How long since your timing belt service was done?
why not all go together?
Well, it could very well be the CV joint like they think. Bad CV joints often only make noise/vibration under load.
If it is the CV joint, there is not much you can do except replace it. By the time it is making noise, regreasing it probably won't help...
Something the announcers said made it sound like the Honda cars REQUIRE left foot braking because of the way they are set up. Is this true, or did I misunderstand the announcer?
That was very interesting to me. I probably have hundreds of hours in a PS2 GT3/4 NSX, but next month will be my first real HPDE. No idea what to expect.
There is a LOT more information in the FAQ. Look around the FAQ sections on buy/sell and ownership.

There is a metal clip that goes around the base of the connector which holds it in place. I use a dental pick to get it pushed off enough to get the connector loose. The danoland DIY website has some pictures and a description of what to do.

I am replacing my tired OEM struts with Bilsteins. I'm halfway though the fronts, I noticed the fully extended length of the Bilsteins is about an inch shorter than the OEM struts. Can someone confirm this is normal? It is part number F4-B46-1663-HO for the fronts. I have Eibach springs on...

I was hoping there would be more cars at the show but I guess the weather predictions scared a lot of people away.
There is nothing special about the NSX oil cap. Hand tighten it just like any other. I believe kgb_agent was giving advice for removing a stuck cap.

Hi everyone. I was getting the NSX ready for NSXPO and noticed my driver side boot is throwing grease. Not torn but the band is gone. To make things worse, the grease coming out seems broken down and almost watery, bleech! I'd like to regrease the joints and replace the boots before I leave...
Hi everyone. I will be stopping a few times to visit family on my way up so I won't be able to caravan. Just wanted to say I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there. :D I can't wait to see all those NSXs together.

I have an odyssey battery in my NSX, I leave it on a battery tender if I know I will not be driving the car for a while because it will drain in about a week. BUT the full size battery that was in there before did the same thing. There is something in my NSX that drains current while the car...
$1,185,000 seems like a lot, but if I trade in my minivan, it would only be $1,183,000. Too bad those Enzo's don't have a lot of room for groceries, otherwise I would definitely do it.
