Selling my S2000 steering wheel and related hubs and adapters for mounting to the NSX. This allows for a direct bolt on to the car and is completely reversible. This was probably one of favorite modifications to the car. I originally wanted it for cosmetic reasons but after installing everything...
Selling the climate control unit from a 2001 NSX (previously in my 91 NSX). The previous owner of my car bought and installed this before I bought the car in 2003, so there's only been about 15k miles of wear. Everything works fine and it looks almost brand new. Asking $700 shipped via USPS 2...
OEM Bose Radio (sold)
Selling the OEM Bose radio head unit from a 1991 NSX. Everything worked fine when taken out. It's in pretty good cosmetic condition but has signs of wear like a small sheen on the buttons from use and mark on the #7 button. Asking $375 shipped via USPS 2 day priority mail...
I think this is an incredibly bizarre assumption to make; the talent used in automotive design could easily CAD any form they desired. These interiors aren't limited by their CAD tools, they're guided by each brand's visual identity. Porsche's references their heritage and the 991 interior has...
Forget NA2, I want to see 2.0
MBA retina 120hz 3d screen (for CAD)
4 cylinder CPU, none of this 2 cylinder stuff
*hybrid* integrated/dedicated gpu
15 hour range
carbon fiber monocoque (aluminum is so 1991)
curb weight of 2lbs
Yinzer, Prelude sounds generous, you sure you didn't mean...
I'm reminded of how nice it was that the NSX was out of production when I was shopping - no weighing any of this "buy now vs. later" stuff!
I dont know, I think some people are discussing this on the NSX 2.0 forum. Do I wait for a 2nd year so the new bugs are sorted out? What if its like the...

I don't have any intent on getting these but just thought I'd share. Anyone have experience with them?
JD I'm not sure what the laws are regarding markups on the US but I remember something about Porsche dealers being discouraged from marking up the Boxster when it came out. I think if they did their allocations were cut to some degree so I'm assuming Honda could at least try to persuade them?
That's a great photo of the NSX. I love the 981 and there's no doubt its an amazing car but a well written article would've emphasized the pro's/cons of each car rather than simply saying the NSX isn't as modern as a car made in 2013.
Joined with a few tweaks
Yeah. I based mine off a simlar design to Hagasan's but since I was milling the s2000 wheel at the same time everything aligned exactly and the two pieces press fit into one another without play.
The person that originally made the adapter is Hagasan on this forum. I've tried contacting him along with others without much success so my assumption is he's no longer active/interested in producing the part unfortunately. I think you're only option is finding a used one or going the...
Thanks for the feedback. Sorry my last post was brief because I was replying while on the move.
1991 Black/black, manual transmission, 3rd owner (since 2003), 70k miles
Maintenance is up to date (just did the timing belt again after ~10k miles because of age, oil every year/~500 miles), the...
I'm fine aside from a rather sore neck and a bruise from the seat belt; the motorcyclist that crossed into my lane (going the opposite direction) was unfortunately not as lucky. I suspect the only reason why I'm still alive is because it was a motorcycle and not a car that hit me. I'm not sure...
I was recently in an accident where I was hit head on by another driver and am now in the process of handling the insurance stuff. The car was written off as a total loss and now I’m being given the option to buy it back. I was thinking I should to better recoup what I’ve put into it and because...
Just looked it up for you, it's $57. It's pretty pricey considering what it is but that's true for basically every part on this car

Yep that's what its supposed to look like. I believe its soft and pliable when new and then as it degrades it gets brittle (along with the plastic moisture barrier) and loses its stickiness. One of my doors had a more recently been updated with a new regulator and that side was far softer than...
Given the age and look of the photo it was probably shot on film. Photoshop had just launched around the introduction of the NSX and considering they didn't bother editing out the spots on the ground or the backdrop transition I doubt they'd digitally edit the underbody shadow (something you'd...
OSX does a far better job using the resources it has to maximise performance in my experience (at least compared to win 7 and below - I havent used 8). It uses up all of the available memory to keep things smooth and as things get tight it starts to prioritize what's more important. That's a bit...
