Michigan check-in & spotting by blodi pt.2

I knew it was cold outside... it appears that hell has frozen over. ;-)

Red valve covers = compensating for something........... < channeling Vince here > just sayin' '-P

You wanna bring it?

Cody wants to go for over 1000whp, but we're more interested in power levels that the trans can withstand.

Let's settle this on a local dyno ;^D

I think your turbo moves more air at idle than mine does at 8K. :) Looking forward to having both of our turbos out and about next season! Maybe Tim's too?

Hey Scotto now in PHX AZ ! We miss you here in da Nort country. It snowed today here - you miss that? It's white and slippery.

You must be on time off and enjoying AZ smooth roads. Update on current ride? We know you still miss your LBBP NSX with Tubi sounds....

We saw sparkin3 (Steve) this evening at CJ's.

Still gathering every Weds 5 PM at CJ's / Compuware Arena Plymouth Twp MI if you return for Holidays.

Best wishes for a wonderful Christmas Season.

Hey Neal,
Missin da Nort country BUT not the weather!! 70* here today...Getting ready to go on a little drive. You are right that I do miss the LBBP but I figure so many cars, so little time! Throwing in a pic of my new ride (not an NSX....hope that's ok to post!!) '11 997 GTS found with 6k on the clock. Very fun car. Wishing you and all my Michigan friends Happy holidays AND a Merry Christmas.

Beautiful 997 Scott! Good to hear from you! Quite jealous of your weather.

I got a visit from the infamous LoveFab rig tonight after Brian and Judi's engine was dropped off. Hope Cody has a safe trip back and looking forward to seeing the end result this time around.

Scott, back to Porsche I see........
Gotta love centerlock wheels!

Here's a shot of Santa's Sleigh heading off to Ryan's from our sub ;^D

Sweet! Documented proof that Santa exists.

Hope your car turns out good Ryan and you get it back in a timely manner this time. ;-)

Here are the latest shoes, HRE's are gone. Man Spring is a long time away....

file_zps0553cd0e.jpg

Thanks Ryan, I think they fit the car better in terms of styling. The HRE's are great wheels but they just got old looking and we were tired of polishing them all the time. These BC's are clear coated including the inner barrel so really easy to keep clean. We are running on the Bilsteins still but with Tein S-Techs now and when we first had everything installed like others have the same set up (rims, suspension, offsets, etc) it rubbed in the rear when cornering so we actually have the Bilstein on the oem perch in the rear and lower in the front. By the time Spring gets here the springs should settle and look perfect. We may eventually go to a coil over to get the look just perfect but we have that steep driveway to clear so no slamming it. LOL

2014 - Happy New Year

Was skipping through some photos this evening. A couple caught my eye.

Now don't be makin' fun of my blue painter's tape. It makes me feel better and obviously go faster!

Doesn't this BLUE look good this time of January with 7-8 inches of new snow plus FOUR BELOW ZERO degrees tonight? Not too shabby. Note the terra-cotta leather interior color. It seemed unusual but presented perfectly. Not "tan."

I had a nice ride in that red F430 in the background - my first time in one. It was May 2011.

what is that green stuff on the ground?

I don't know what that green stuff is. Haven't seen it in awhile....... :frown:
I saw -9 degrees F on my way in this morning. I'm already tired of winter!
Judi

went to Autoworld in Brussels today. One of the coolest auto museums I've been to.
They had 3 550 Spyders!!

Can any of you car buffs identify the red race car?

Nice pictures guys, makes me miss Summer a lot!

No progress on getting the purple car back together (was -17.5 *F this AM), but I did receive the new AEM Boost and AFR Gauges!

Have you mounted them to the arm of a living room char? Are you sitting in that chair making "vroom vroom" noises? Definative signs that winter may have got the best of you.

My advice: take 2 IPAs and buy plane tickets to Florida.

Funny guy!

I'll admit to watching this little video that Jon shot with Ryan shortly after we picked up the car, to keep the giggle juice from freezing up;

Keep Florida, but YES to the IPA's (is it Wednesday yet? ;^)

Again you didn't call. Removing my AEM boost gauge and UEGO. Going to dual serial gauges with the AEM to allow monitoring of front and rear AF ratios as well as other things like oil temp, intake temp, etc. Replacing the Garrett turbo with a Comp Turbo which does not require an oil line. 6065 so it should come on REALLY early but still provide boost.

Tim, like Ryan mentioned earlier.....I sure hope we can have all 3 of our local LoveFab cars on the road (to join Nick's) next Summer.
I have emailed you before, but heard nothing back FWIW.
Maybe you could just post up a 'feeler' ad here for whatever extra parts you might have coming available..........oh wait, the Mods don't like that ;-P

Man, am I sick of Winter!
Brian

Definitely something wrong. I am getting none of the emails. PM me. I never know what I have for sale. I feel like Juice when he was in the middle of his body kits. I am going to have to have a garage sale one of these days. Looked and I have extra wheels for an M3, R8, NSX, Noble all of which are unused as well as extra sets for the Allroad and 911 with snow tires. I need a vacation to get this sorted. I think that it would be great to have all of the cars on the road as well as the track. Any interest for Mid-Ohio with Chin Motorsports on Memorial Day. Liz and I are planning on attending.

Tim, Love Mid-O dearly. That Mon-Tues track time sounds real nice.

You will sponsor a wheel sale soon? Oh baby, color me up!

We are considering USA Memorial Day Holiday weekend May 24-26 at ESTFest 2014 at Grand Bend, ONT (140 miles ea way).
