We had a great time last time with perfect track weather - too bad the M3's outnumbered the NSX's (again) - better luck next time I guess. Anyone that thinks a canyon run is fun ought to see what they can do on a track.

Actually, we had trouble with the civic race car. I ended sharing a car with Tom Chiarella, and we are also OTC bound

The next open track event is on for the 22nd of FEBRUARY - and that is coming right up in just 5 days or so. As usual, most of you that expressed an interest in coming are lagging and have not yet registered for the event. Please do so ASAP so that we can continue to have them - otherwise when I want to test my car, I'll have to pay for the track rental all by myself! OUCH!

Reminders:

Last time, and in spite of the EXCELLENT TECH INSPECTION PDF posted on the site, 2 people ran out of tires or pads before lunch and 1 person (that I know of at least) ran out of brake pads and tires! PLEASE - for your own enjoyment and safety (and ours too) download that Tech Inspection Form check list and do it or have it done for you if you cannot perform the checks yourself. It is pretty basic shit - but it can make the difference between a fun day and sitting on the sidelines or having an unexpected and possibly expensive offroad experience.

I hope to see you there - we are going for a least 11 laps this time in the #6 Trophy Car NSX. ;-)

Not in the NSX, OTC mods in progress; front splitter, AccuSump, SC, big _ss radiator, weight reduction, fender clearance mod, etc

Might show up in the RSX if I can find some tires softer than compressed graphite.
