    Pop up or googly eyes

One thing about a G2, you can see the headlights without getting out of the car. You immediately know if something is not right about either one of them. I drive my 2003 as a daily driver to and from work. People take pictures of it almost daily.

    A Tribute to the NSX

Anyone have any thoughts on the mid engine (some sort of corvette) that GM is talking about releasing next year?

Tried to steal my light bar

Sorry for not doing a better job in original posting. There were 3 of the 20 something guys. There were 4 of us. Cost of replacement parts at Acura were $38 -- Still cheaper than buying a replacement led lightbar.

Tried to steal my light bar

Greetings Haven't been here for quite some time. A few days back, I was out meeting friends for lunch over at River Mark. As I came out I heard the alarm on my car going off. I walked over and some young guys -- guessing about 20 or so were there. One apologized for "bumping" it. He had a...

    Saw 3 NSX's in Taiwan

Was in Taiwan just before Christmas. Saw 3 NSX's there. Saw two G2's -- a black one and a white one in Tianmu (suburb of Taipei). Saw a G1 -- red with a black top dashing through the streets in downtown traffic one morning -- surrounded my scooters. Taipei is certainly an interesting place...

thoughts on the new nsx that's about to be announced?

It is supposedly going to have a mid engine V6 plus All Wheel Drive. That is a perk. http://autos.yahoo.com/blogs/motoramic/detroit-auto-show-2012-acura-nsx-reborn-america-195522208.html

    The NSX Regret thread

No regrets so far. I have been driving it to work everyday for 4 years. I can't even complain about the tires only last 13 - 15K miles. It really is therapy everyday on the 30 minute drive home.

    auto vs stick

I have an auto and drive it to work every day, rain or shine. I estimate that I would have to shift something like 120 times on the drive home if I had a manual. I had a loaner with a manual transmission that I drove for a week. Mine has been ponied up about 25 or so hp. You can dash someone...

Anyone have a 2008 of younger viper? how does it compare to nsx?

Greetings Rent a Viper before you buy one -- you want to drive one without an owner or car salesman sitting next to you so that you can really drive it and explore its possibilities. This is always my recommendation. You might have to fly somewhere to do so. I drove a ton of vehicles...

    Boating in Your NSX

Greetings Mine is black on black, but not that one. I have a G2 with fixed headlights. The driver knows how to drive in water -- crossing streams or rivers. The secret is to go fast enough that the water does not have time to flow into the compartments, but not so fast that you splash/spray...

    Boating in Your NSX

Greetings I have new tires, less than 1000 miles on them. I was driving too fast for the conditions, the water was just deep enough: it was the equivalent of a perfect storm. Martin

    Boating in Your NSX

Greetings I haven't posted in quite a while. We have had a significant amount of rain in Northern CA recently. We were coming home from brunch on MLK day. It was raining fairly hard with no traffic on the street. There was water all over the street. I hit a patch in a low spot and Black...

Is the NSX a serious car?

Greetings Go out and rent a Ferrari, or whatever you think you would like. That way you can run the crap out of it without a salesman or owner sitting next to you. I did. That is why I did not buy several exotic cars. We have 5 Ferrari's and 2 Lambo's in my area. None of them ever get...

    Objective Purchasing Advice...

Greetings What are you looking for? A daily driver? A weekend driver? Need a little more information. I drove a Ford GT before buying my NSX. You have to REALLY pay attention when you drive one. They are very sensitive and will change lanes on you in the blink of an eye. The only ones...
