Looks like he drove it so hard that the targa roof panel doesn't fit right anymore.
Uneven gap along the front, extra wide gap in the drivers side front corner, but overhangs the window more than normal on the drivers side rear. I'd love to see body shop measurements on it.
Just to clarify.
While some Acura dealers would install a CTSC (and other Comptech mods), it was never a "factory option" from Acura.
Those Acura dealers also happened to be Comptech dealers and thus would install Comptech parts on brand new cars.

From what I have seen it appears a very small percentage of them get rebuilt properly. I guess there is a lot more money in cutting corners and finding a naive buyer.

I just went out and did a rough measurement for you. From the most forward part of the middle of the front nose to the most rearward part of the doors it looks like almost exactly 9 feet. If this puts you within a couple inches of clearance I can try to do a more precise measurement this weekend.
It would be really helpful if you could share the budget / cost for this restore. I understand you probably have promotional rates with Autowave and so forth, but you must have an budget on both sides to be working from. It would be great to know what it takes to tear down and restore like you...

What kind of used car dealer considers a car sold before the buyer has delivered full payment or approved financing? Any one I've worked with will at most hold it for you with a deposit...
Is it not in the electrical troubleshooting manual? I don't have one to check, but I would hope all the factory the electrical systems would be covered.
