If the switch is faulty the alarm will false regardless if you use your key or the remote. Blowing compressed air in the keyhole will have no effect on the switch either because its linked mechanically via the keyswitch. Hope this helps, Chris.

This is correct, the compressor in fact does have a resevoir which is topped off with Pag oil upon its installation.

IMO stay away from any vacuum that is 100% plastic, housings warp etc.

Jeff, Do not unsolder the soldered screws,just remove the 9 screws on the transistor heat sinks.

yes, I have experienced and repaired the problem. More than likely its the key actuated switch in the drivers door and needs to be repaired or replaced.
