There has been a number of ads here where sellers are attempting to title jump. That means they never put the title in their own name and have a title signed by a previous owner and the buyer’s name is left blank. Sellers then attempt to list the car as a “one owner” car when clearly that is a misrepresentation.
Title jumping is ILLEGAL in all 50 states.
All ads for title jumped cars are prohibited here and will be deleted. All buyers should inquire of sellers if title is in their name and if you are told the title is in someone else’s name and the buyer is still blank you should insist the seller title it in their name first.
