I purchased my 1996 NSX-T in April of 2006 with 110,000 miles on it. Since then I have added 8000 miles. The car is essentially a stock NSX-T with the exception of the recently added Advan Model T5 Bronze wheels and a Comptech exhaust. I still have the stock wheels and the stock exhaust so it can be brought back to completely original.(not included in this sale) I have the title in hand and receipts for all the work done on the vehicle since I have owned it. The car is in outstanding condition both mechanically and cosmetically. The paint is original and is in very good condition for the age. The car has never been in an accident or had body work done. I have the car fax from when I purchased the car in 2006. It has the expected paint chips on the nose and hood from driving and some minor chips around the sides. I would call the finish a 5 footer. Meaning that when you are 5 foot away from the car you cannot see the defects. Mechanically this car is perfect. I have had significant work done to the car by Mitch @ Mechanics Direct in Lowell, MA. They are well known for their expert service on NSX's.
Here is a list of the work that I have done or had done to the car:
* Timing belt & Water Pump @ 110,500 miles
* The following work was done at 114,100 miles:
1. Clutch multi-disc set w/flywheel
2. Clutch master cylinder
3. Clutch slave cylinder
4. Release bearing
5. Valve adjustment
6. Camshaft end plug
7. Valve cover gasket set
8. Spoool valve gasket
9. Spool valve filter
10. Radiator hose
11. CV boot band and grease kit
12. Changed transmission oil
13. Full wheel alignment
14. New rear hatch pistons
15. Left Bank O2 sensors
16. New battery
17. Complete tune up and 30 point inspection by Mechanics Direct
Those of you that are familiar with NSX's know that they are extremely reliable mechanically, they handle like a dream and are a blast to drive. The engines were built to last 300,000 miles and all the expensive maintainence items on this car are done. What you see here represents over $8000 in work done. This car does not need a thing. Also has the factory CD changer installed and working.
The Advan Model T5's are 17" fronts and 18" rears. The tires are Dunlop ST SportMaxx 215/40/ZR17 (front) 255/35/ZR18 (rear) They have less that 2000 miles on them and have at least 85% tread left. I purchased these less than a year ago from Science of speed and there is not a chip or scratch on them. I will sell the car without the upgraded wheels, tires and exhaust and put the originals back on and reduce the price by $2000.
