Wouldn't be complete without car #262, 19UNC1B03NY000262, in stunning Indy Yellow Pearl complemented with Berlina Black Gloss wheels over red calipers. Optioned with the lightweight package, ebony leather/Alcantara seats and the XM radio. Enjoy it @docjohn.:)

Bagged another JDM Honda NSZ Type S today. Car number 320, NC1-1500020, was posted on social media back in December 2022. This car turns out to be the only Curva Red Type S exported to Japan. You can see it has iron rotors, the Honda badging and the owner optioned for the carbon fiber rear spoiler. According to the company "First", this is the owner's second NC1 purchase and they PPF'ed the car plus added the red pin stripes on the diffusor. Photos by 株式会社ファースト.

Finally found a video by Panama Acura (posted Nov. '22) on the Gotham Gray Matte #049, 19UNC1B03NY000049, they received back in April 2022. It allowed the confirmation of the seat, wheels and caliper colors. It has Berlina Black Gloss wheels over red calipers and the lightweight package. The seats are red leather/Alcantara. Also, since it's an early build, it received the carbon fiber binnacle. Still photos Jair Cazorla @jdc88_pty at a car event and by the owner @jorel.nsx/@whpvisuals at an evening setting.

Car #090, 19UNC1B00NY000090, was produced in April 2022 and ordered by Acura of Alhambra in Casino White Pearl. Seats are full red leather. Another photo (attached) clearly shows a CF binnacle on the dash. The is the highest production number showing a CF binnacle so far. #90 was optioned with Berlina Black Gloss wheels over red calipers and the lightweight package CC rotors. The estimated MSRP based on the options is $188,494.

I see you even moved your badge behind your back so as not to scratch the paint....nice work. If you want a PDF of the image, PM me your email addy, and I'll send it.

It took a little bit of investigative work to find nice pictures of #74, 19UNC1B02NY000074. The couple available at the dealership, Acura Las Vegas, were not very attractive. And then fortunately, Ceramic Pro in Arizona (photo credit) posted #74 getting PPF'ed. This is another car optioned with the lightweight package and received the CF cluster visor. A double bonus in that it also does not have the XM radio option. In addition, it sports Berlina Black Gloss wheels with red calipers and full red leather seats as seen through the windshield. The estimated MSRP is $188,495 but the registered sales price was $188,494.

Here's a different view of a newly delivered NSX Type S. Car #167, 19UNC1B09NY000167, was captured by the dealership, Smithtown Acura, coming off the transport truck and then readied for the lucky customer. The bright Indy Yellow Pearl paint can be even seen through the factory protective cover. How many of you were able to see your car wrapped or even have the covers? This car was ordered with the lightweight package, full leather ebony seats, Berlina Black Gloss wheels over red calipers, XM radio and the Alcantara covered cluster visor. MSRP is estimated at $188,495. Update, #167 was last seen and enjoyed at the Sky Manor Airport's Car and Coffee event (Photos by Nick @supercar_showoffs)

Car #253, 19UNC1B02NY000253 has not been mentioned on this thread until now. No, no it has not been resold many times. In fact, the owner is a second time buyer of the NC1s and a proud one (as many of us). This car was sold new at Hendrick Acura Southpoint. The customer did manage to visit PMC to see their pride and joy, coming off the production line. Painted in Casino White Pearl. Options selected are Orchid leather/Alcantara seats, Berlina Black Gloss wheels over red calipers and carbon ceramic rotors from the lightweight package, XM Radio and finally an Alcantara covered cluster visor. The estimated MSRP is $187,495. Still photos taken from @autobolic's video.

Here's another one owner story. Car #252, 19UNC1B00NY000252, is the sister car to #253, in spirit anyways. This car, however, differs from #253 with two distinct options, ebony leather/Alcantara seats and silver calipers. Of the 280 caliper colors identified on the production run to date, this car is one of three painted in Casino White Pearl with silver calipers. It also has the lightweight package, XM radio and as expected the Alcantara covered cluster visor. It great to see these back to back builds. Some have called them production clusters. In fact, there is some truth to this observation. There was only a run of two in this case, as these two cars where bookended with Berlina Black builds. o_O

Still available for sale NEW, car #197,19UNC1B07NY000197, resides at Motorcars in Bedford, Ohio. I am not exactly sure how this works because it's a Volvo dealer and the car is not listed on their website but listed on the popular car shopping sites as new. So, you too can be a first registered owner on an NSX Type S. This one is obviously painted in Curva Red and optioned with the lightweight package (but with the Alcantara instrument visor), full leather ebony seats, Berlina Black Gloss wheels over red calipers, and the XM radio upgrade. It should be noted, the mileage is 26 miles and has been on the market for about 120 days. By my notes its exactly 14 miles from Crown Acura, Cleveland to Motorcars, Bedford and there's a record of sale by Motorcars back on Sept 2022., just saying. The estimated MSRP based with these options is $187,495.

Here we have the new owner of car #212 of 350, 19UNC1B0XNY000212 in the deep Curva Red that's very reminiscence of Rossa Corsa but better, LOL. This one was purchased new at Acura Peabody and dressed in full leather ebony seats, Berlina Black Gloss wheels with the less selected black calipers and matched with the lightweight carbon ceramic rotors. XM radio option is seen on the roof antenna bump. MSRP is estimated at $187,495. Production was mid to late August, 2022. Update: Learned a little bit more on the owner, Warren. He hails out of New England and is an avid car enthusiast, belongs to the Lyon Waugh Auto Group and loves to drive his cars. Warren's reaction when he picked up the NSX Types? "Oh boy! One of 300 for the US! " Photos by Acura Peabody and Sunset by Warren @warren.waugh.

Acura of Pembroke Pines (photo credits) order one of the nearly last Type S models to come out of PMC. Manufacturing of #295 was sometime in November 2022 with customer delivery just before Christmas. Wow, what a present to get. This one paired the Casino White Pearl premium paint option with red leather/alcantara seats. Shark Gray Matte wheels was matched with lightweight package's CC rotors. A rear view of the car shows the XM radio options. From the photos as with cars late in the build process only recieves the Alcantara covered instrument visor. It does match the dash pretty well. We can thank COVID-19 and the supply-chain constraints for that. Estimated MSRP is $185,995.

Time for a good story. While poking around trying to find details on a few cars lacking options details, I hunted for Serra Acura postings for car #292, 19UNC1B01NY000292. I wasn't finding much until I found a podcast on YouTube series called "All Things Acura". Many discussions on dealer specific topics but they also discussed Acura production and corporate information. #292 arrived the day before Thanksgiving. The salesman was skeptical on the color and when it arrived, they were impressed. "It stood out". The owner, Dustin, did do the insider experience and learned everything about the NSX Type S. They boasted "he would keep the car forever and probably put more miles on his Type S than anyone else." I am sure there are many owners on Prime would challenge that claim. They also mentioned about how the hotel for the insider experience was decked out in NSX logos including the pillows and bed sheets. I completely forgot about that detail. The estimated MSRP is $187,495. Photos by Micah Dorward and Serra Acura.

Found another happy owner with car #237, 19UNC1B04NY000237 at Metro Acura. The folks at Metro Acura ordered the car in striking Thermal Orange Pearl paint. The upper left picture is the day of delivery (and the only picture you typically find associated with this car). But as many of us know, there's an owner behind the purchase. Metro said the following, "We want to give a huge shout out and congratulations to Nick on his all-new NSX Type S! Enjoy it for all of us!". That was October 8th, 2022, just before Halloween, 🎃 perfect for the occasion. It's great to see all the doors, hood and trunk open on the night after Nick purchased his car. This example was built in September 2022. The registered sales record shows $169,000 which equals only the base price (no options or shipping) and a number that doesn't add up to any known combinations of options. However, looking closely at the pictures (turn the brightness up, ;) its you can see it was ordered with carbon ceramic rotors, orange calipers, Berlina Black Gloss wheels and the XM radio options. Best guess on the MSRP assuming ebony full leather seats is $188,495. Photos by Metro Acura, @the_unofficial_nsx_registry and @detailunion.

And here's the sister car #236, 19UNC1B02NY000236, that preceded #237 of the same color on the production line. Ordered by Joe Bullard Acura and produced in September 2022. This is what they had to say, "Christmas came a little early for our customer! A custom-built 2022 Acura NSX Type S! This ✨show-stopping✨ vehicle is 236/350 that was built!". The sales record was $186,695. This number does help enough with the photos to estimate the selected options with 100% certainty. There's no combination of options I can determine to equal $186.695. The picture next to the production number badge when blown up shows CC rotors and the calipers appear to be orange (and not red). The same picture shows ebony leather/alcantara seats. Due to supply-chain issues, all cars got the CF engine cover. XM radio antenna is also visible but also was required on the second half of the production run. Knowing this, the projected MSRP is exactly $800 higher.

On April 14th, Acura of Pembroke Pines received a special delivery from PMC. Mike Chan (photo credits) proclaimed, "2022 Acura NSX Type-S in Gotham Grey Matte just landed at @acuraofpembrokepines. Loaded with Lightweight Carbon Package and matching Matte Finish wheels. Wow!!" This happens to be car #066, 19UNC1B03NY000066. The other options are XM radio upgrade, red calipers and red leather/Alcantara seats. The MSRP for this car was $190,995 and manufactured mid March, 2022. Photos by Mike Chan at Acura of Pembroke Pines. (Side note: Up until now, #66 has not been discovered by any other VIN tracker such as VinWiki, ECR, VinSearch, VinProvide, VinHistory or even our very own @the_unofficial_nsx_registry) o_O

Found another NSX Type S not yet discovered by the social car VIN trackers. Car #293, 19UNC1B03NY000293, was ordered and currently resides at Frank Leta Acura. According to the dealership, its theirs, it's not for sale and will remain on display in the showroom. For me, it's a nice thought that there will be at least one showroom new car accessible to the public. Just think, 10, 20, 30 years from now we can go see this car in pristine condition. #293 was ordered in 130R White, red leather/Alcantara seats, lightweight package, Berlina Black Gloss wheels over red calipers and XM radio option.

I'm having some better luck finding the Type S cars exported to Japan. Car #326 of 350, NC1-1500026 was caught in the wild by Mochida Yoshihiro, an owner of a NA1 red NSX (see attached picture). Full credit for the photos and captured stills goes to Mochida Yoshihiro. His video shows a group of NSX owners on a car meet and drive in Japan in early November last year. This particular Type S was seen before where its chassis number and configuration were captured (see inset picture on the right handside). Known options on this car: 130R White exterior color, optional carbon fiber rear spoiler (not standard for Japan exports), full leather ebony seats, and Berlina Black Gloss wheels over red calipers. Oh, I forgot to add, this is only 1 of 3 130R White RHD NSX Type S' sent to Japan.

Update on car #162, 19UNC1B0XNY000162. It is now in the hands of a new owner and out of the clutches of the secondary (flipping) market. Caught @NSXjon's ride at the dealership and parading at "Supercar Saturdays" in Florida. The owner also has a 1998 NSX in Monte Carlo Blue. Its included in the picture set. This ride was one of the few Long Beach Blue Pearl optioned with silver calipers other options include: Orchid leather/alcantara seats, Berlina Black Gloss wheels, lightweight package and XM radio upgrade. Glad to see #162 landed with a longtime NSX enthusiast. This same car is on YouTube getting a full exhaust makeover with Pride downpipes and SoS exhaust. Another update, #162 just got new rims and the iLift; YouTube linked here. I've been watching for the availability for the Type S since early 2022 at SoS. But until now its now been available for the Type and then maybe mid last it was dropped from the site. Does this mean its back?

Here's the revealing update on the RHD Type S exports to Japan. We now have all the exterior colors and a couple of option updates on known cars. As you can see, the full allocation of 10 Gotham Gray Matte Metallic cars were consumed by the Japanese market. LBBP is the second most selected color. There are three one off cars, Curva Red, Indy Yellow Pearl and Thermal Orange Pearl. This update has been applied to the NSX Prime Library Type S tracker.

The Make-A-Wish® Canada auction winners for car #331, 19UNC1B09NY800001, was reported back in early 2022, "TORONTO, Feb. 3, 2022 /CNW/ - Acura Canada and Make-A-Wish® Canada announced today that a recent online private auction of a 2022 Acura NSX Type S has led to a donation of $306,364.90, the largest, one-time, single donation the organization has received from a living donor." Pretty amazing. Link to the article on the result is here. After learning about this from @Reifen, I was always interested in seeing the production car. What we do know is that the color was Gotham Gray Matte Metallic, Berlina Black Gloss wheels over black calipers and lightweight package and full ebony leather seats plus no XM radio option. Well here is car #331:
1679332053487.png

Here's also a summary of the background on this auction (referenced in article above): :The donation plan took root in 2021 when members of the Acura Canada team decided to auction a 2022 NSX Type S – the company's limited-edition supercar. The goal was to offer a Canadian automotive enthusiast a chance at the exclusive VIN 001, 1 of just 15, NSX Type S supercars available in Canada. All proceeds of the auction would be given to Make-A-Wish Canada for their role in granting the wishes of children and making their dreams come true."

Another low production number has been located. This one is owned by none other than Bobby Rahal. Bobby won three championships and 24 races in the CART open-wheel series, including the 1986 Indianapolis 500. He also won the 2004 and 2020 Indy 500s as a team owner for Buddy Rice and Takuma Sato (keep this last name in mind in coming postings ). Bobby's relationship with Honda began in the early 90's. In 1994 and as team owner and driver, Rahal and his CART racing team brought the Honda engine into the CART series. It should be no surprise to anyone and for one, I am happy to see, Bobby Rahal is an Acura NSX Type S owner. Car #009, 19UNC1B02NY000009, was the 9th of 34 cars built in January 2022, painted in Curva Red with full ebony leather seats. Expectedly, this car was optioned with the lightweight packaged paired with Berlina Black Gloss wheels over red calipers. Being an early production number, it also should have the carbon fiber instrument visor. It can be seen when you zoom in to the windshield of the birds eye view picture of the car. There are no seams (normally there are two parallel seams on the Alcantara version about 5 inches apart running perpendicular to the edge of the dashboard). In addition, take a look at the attached magnified photo showing the texture difference between the center of the dash that is only Alcantara and the cluster hoodie.

Many of you may or may not know Acura has two dealerships in Puerto Rico (San Juan and Ponce). Based on the Type S tracker, four cars were exported to this area. The first of them, car #15, 19UNC1B08NY000015 was ordered by Acura of San Juan, shown here at the dealership. Puerto Rico shows a pretty rich history of owning both first gen and second generation NSXs. I found more than a dozen NC1's (check out the metallic lime green one in the attached) sold in this area, many NA1's and even a 1994 Brooklands Green Pearl NSX with only 20K miles on it back in Oct. 2018 (see attached). This car is the first of two Gotham Gray Matte Metallic allocated to PR. #015 has full red leather seats and optioned with the lightweight package, Berlina Black Gloss wheels over red calipers. It does not have the XM radio option. I am not even certain XM radio is available in Puerto Rico. The photos are courtesy of Acura de Puerto (San Juan) and Miguel Angel @maacura.
