290hp Audi tt vs NSX

Short vid showing a 290hp (APR turbo) Audi tt Quattro with several mods vs NSX. The 5v engine has some trouble on the straight roads and pulling from an apex. 0-60 the tt is even with the NSX despite a big gap in weight.

Was that the APR Stage III turbo kit?

No - I believe the stage 3 is closer to 340hp when tuned properly.

I think you're talking about the APR Stage 3+ kit.

Stage3 is rated at 290HP and 296 ft-lbs.

Good kill btw, even though those TTs are quite heavy especially the quattros and convertiables.

I know from experience, an APR stage III tt will walk a stock nsx.

Weight is similar between them, acelleration is also similar, with a slight edge towards the tt, but the 1.8t runs out of steam around 140mph, while the nsx keeps going to 160mph. The main area of contention is going to be shifting, the tt keeps tapping its redline, while the nsx can essentially stomp it through all of 2nd and regain ground on the upshift.

I'm wondering then if this is just a chipped 1.8T TT. In which case the power will be closer to 200whp (230 HP), which is about what I had in my 1.8T Jetta.
