Never heard of a 3.8L in a nsx, looking forward to this. Any history of prior work?
This was my old Service Mangers car. I rebuild this motor 11 years ago.

RS machine did the work. The sleeves are 95.5 Darnton

AFAIK Benson has a pretty decent 'unqualifed' track record of having the least amount of dropped sleeves. I have no data to back that up obviously. Just the preference of trusted engine builders I know.

Yes.. He was my Service Manager 14 years ago. So I got the privilege of seeing Jon build them for his customers. I would have never thought I would own his car one day. The good thing is I put so much stuff on this car for him I know everything about it.

Do the Darton sleeves drop often?
No. This block was a test block to see how big we can go with the bore. Sleeves 15 years ago in nsx engines was still new. Now this never happens in homda engines
