As part of my car's performance/diet plan, I had planned to swap a manual rack into my EPS equipped NSX. I bought a good used manual rack as a core (purchased for $415 from AH Parts) and had D1Guy perform his expert rebuild services to make it better than new OEM condition internally, but have decided to just keep my EPS rack.
Purists favor the manual rack mainly because of it's better steering feel and precision, but it also has the benefits of an approximately 30 lb. weight reduction and economy (the power steering rack is hugely more expensive to purchase and repair).
Photos are website photos from nsxrackrepair.com since I didn't even take the rack out of the package when I got it back (it was bench/QC tested before shipping).
$900 OBO (vs my $415 core plus $800 service)
