A/C Drier

I have a small leak in the sight glass of my drier. R 12 is leaking, I mean barely leaking. I was looking for another drier for the future down the road, and my question is this: Do I need to find the OEM drier, or is there a substitute? I have seen a bunch of them that "say" they are compatible, but want to know for sure. Thanks in advance.

If it fits, it ships. As long as it not some fake/bogus thing and actually a drier: it will function just fine.

I have done few of these and the aftermarket ones are wider and you may need to use a longer bolt in the bracket that holds the dryer behind the front bumper.

What brand of the dryer did you use?

I got a 4 seasons for 20.00, then found the oem on ebay for 220.00. I have them both, and plan on using the four seasons 1st, incase its not the only leak in the system.
