AC problem, electrical??

My ac has been acting up lately. About 5 minutes after my ac comes on, it shuts off completely (no air whatsoever). The car can be stationary or moving, it does the same thing. I start it again a few hours later and the exact same thing happens. My mechanic says it has to be electrical. He cannot solve the problem and says the compressor, evaporator, blower ect all work. I am thinking it is some transistor or maybe even the climate control. Any input would be much appreciated.

Check the climate control board for leaking capacitor, BrianK on this board can fix them. If you mechanic don't have a idea, try another shop more familiar with the NSX.

If you haven't already, check and clean the connectors on all of the ac-related fuses and relays. Mine was acting up in a similar fashion earlier this summer and after replacing the fuses ( even though they looked good) and cleaning the relay contacts, it's been working fine. Good luck.
