Man... 2.2 and 2.3. These guys are like three years behind mainstream Android development.

Maybe their customizations are so extreme, it's hard to port them to 4 - but that just means they'll be stuck on the 2.x foundation forever.

Been looking for something like this. But that $990 price point is a little steep.

$990 would almost get you a Mac mini + Lilliput carputer build...

The issue with that is it doesn't control anything....its just a tablet in a NavPod. And thats not cheap, $400-$500 for the Navpod + $200 tablet so it just sits there isn't ideal either.

~$600 isn't a bad price point either. And this allows you to tether to your phone for data.

If the android would come down in price, by a lot it would be worth having granted it ran on jellybean like the nexus 7 or similar.
