I have brake dust residue that won't come off my wheels. I have tried various wheel cleaners and metal cleaners but nothing seems to get the wheels clean. Any ideas out there of something that will get them clean?

Outside edge of rim, the middle of wheel is black the outside rim is chrome
Sounds like a rust stain, get some red out rust remover at the store and try that.
Easy Off oven cleaner. Don't let it sit, wipe on, wipe off and then rinse. Will take off 10 year old brake dust baked on.
Try P21s wheel cleaner. It is safe for all kinds of finishes. Let it sit for 15 minutes, and work in with horse hair brush. Should take the rust off.
