I'm in Japan right and will be here til Jan 2003. Maybe i can be of some use if you need to get JDM NSX parts or any JDM parts for that matter.

Id be curious to find out how much it would cost for the JDM foglights and the switches that go in the center console where the U.S.-spec cars have that little square "coin tray"

The switch panel is 440 plus shipping

and if I recall, the fogs were about 700-900 depending on exchange rate.

Yup! That's the one:

Im thinking with those prices, and with the fact that apparently this is standard JDM and European equipment, I wonder if they have any junkyards in Japan were we could pull a few of these out of wrecked cars.

IIRC these control:
front row: fog (left) and driving lamp (right)
back row: washer (left) and headlamp adjust (right)

The unused ones (back row) should be re-usable other uses. Someone I know might want to have it shoot flames (from the exhaust pipes) on-demand.

I bought the JDM foglights used for $450 without the wiring or panel. Mark Basch wired up a nice hidden switch for me.

It looks like the little switch with a "star" on it is some type of fan switch.

I'd be interested in a Type-R coolant bottle condom.

Two button code panel with carjack option for car-alarm (aftermarket, Clifford)

Dutchy

The US version NSX's do not have any wiring for the fog lights. Yes, you do have pigtails to plug then into in the openings, but those wires somehow go to nothing. I've checked under the coin tray and no harness either! http://members.aol.com/b2nsx/index3.html
Mark Basch helped with this one.

Home Depot has this spray paint which is rubberized and used to coat tools. Perhaps you might try painting the coolant bottle?

I know, but I like OEM stuff.
