Best price/performance brake kit?

I've been tossing the idea around that big brake kit would be nice, but I know that I am still not a good enough driver to even realize the limitations of my stock brakes either... I've just put in new high performance brake fluid and the Dali deflectors which seem to help the OEM brakes at the track compared to last time... but I just was wondering if there is a big brake kit out there for ~$2000 that truely is a performance increasing mod for my car.

If you are really trying to keep the cost down, you might consider just upgrading the front brakes. They do most of the work anyway.

Too bad none of the big brake kit currently availabel, even just the fronts, cost less than $2000. But be patient, a little birdy from Seattle tells me someone is cooking up some good crack for all of us speed freaks.

I believe the Tar-Ox brakes from Dali are about $1800-$2000 per axle.

I got my front Brembo kit from Stillen for about $2K. Don't know what they charge for it now, but might be worth looking into.
