More of a scotch guy myself, but that's an impressive collection.

Cheap gift: Laphroaig 10yr
Special occasion: Glenmorangie Signet
Airport bar last resort: Glenlivet (yuck, but sometimes desperate times...)

without Bourbon or Sherry, there would be no casks to make scotch. The casks are dismantled and shipped to Scotland and reassembled to age scotch whiskey.
For this reason alone, please make and drink more bourbon.

We share the same tastes. Haven't had the Glenmorangie yet. After all the ads on the Open...looked at it at the store and wasn't sure which one to try...that's now been answered.

Ummm Ummm gotta love the smokey peaty taste of a good Islay.

I splurged a little last time I was at Costco and picked up this fine Bourbon.

Absolutely. Expensive and well worth it in my opinion. I can never find a bottle of it at the store (and believe me I've been to all the good stores and asked) so I end up paying $40/glass for it at fancy bars. Outrageous, I know, but it's that good.

As far as Bourbon goes... We used to mix up some crazy stuff with Jim Beam and Wild Turkey back in college

I would like to suggest Clyde May's whiskey to you
It's hard to find and in 2003 it was made the "Official" spirit of the state of Alabama thru legislative proclamation!
I find it very smooth with a nice long finish and at $29 a bottle it's a bargain!
If you try it I'd like to hear your feedback!
Cheers
