Broken door handle, now what?

The door handle just broke on the left side interior and on close inspection there is a small piece that actually broke and is only available as part of the entire assembly which lists at over $400.
Is it possible to repair this piece; it appears to be cast aluminum.
If so, has anyone done a repair and how did it go?
If not, are there any sources for salvaged NSX parts readily available.
Thanks in advance.

You may just need the door "thingy", that's a common problem and easily fixed. SOS makes a door "thingy" replacment made of billet aluminum. about $40 each, unbreakable.
I just changed both of mine.

Mine just broke also. Its the bottom of the plastic interior door handle.

My broke last month, but luckly, it was covered under warrenteeeeee.

Are you talking about the flat metal piece that is attached to the handle by two very tiny screws? It then connects to the cable that unlatches the door. I can't believe it my 91 just broke that piece last Friday. If you find a fix please email me. I will do the same.
