Guys,

I took my car to a track day organized by my local Porsche Club, and Im pleased to announce it performed like a champion. the car ran perfect, it kept up with younger/faster cars and even killed new 997's on the main straightaway.

My NSX only suffered twice the humiliation of being passed on track, it only happened on the main straight and by porsche turbo's, a 996 and my own 993 turbo which is a factory 430hp car (driven by myself).

my only problem is im having a slight misfire at part throttle, Ive replaced all 6 sparkplugs, as weel as all 6 coils. im thinking iggiter, map sensor water temp sensor.

Ideas?

David

PD. picture taken with a BB Bold, I expected it to be way better. it was so funny driving to the track in caravan with all 3 cars and some esocrts in the black suburban behind us. Even cops pulled next to all 3 and when they saw the suburban they backed away.

You have great taste in cars. The 360CS is one of the few modern F cars I would buy personally.

Are you the same guy with the crazy straight pipes on it on youtube? I've seen that vid like a 100 times =)

Ravi

LOL yes I am.

Is it the one that says "djimenez exhaust" or something like that? I took them off BTW, my wife complained about it and I was using it as a Daily driver, nowadays I should put them back on, as I only use the CS on track.

Map or CTS arent going to cause a misfire at only part throttle.

I personally get a kick seeing someone else drive my car around the track ;]

beautiful collection!! id love to see stable pictures

you need at least 1 4 door LOL..................nice collection

Such a nice collection!

I'm a huge fan of that 993 though. Before I bought my first NSX I almost bought a 1997 Carrera S. Remember back in 1997 when the 996 version came out and Porsche still had the Turbo bodied Carrera S's around on the showroom floor? This was one of these cars so if you look at it from the rear you'd swear it was a Turbo but really its only a Carrera S.

you can afford three exotic cars, but not a good camera???:redface::biggrin:

I guess I know where all your money went...

I never carry a nice camera, and I rarely take pictures of my cars, weird.... but that's how it usually is.

Either way, daily driver....

I absolutley love your cars, especially the 360CS. :) The interior is so raw and simple

Curious, is Mexico bad with kidnapping/threats that one would need escorts? I know in Russia, people with status get kidnapped and held for ransom.

that may be a 'crappy' photo, but those are not crappy cars.

airwolfnsx,

Yes, lately a lot of kidnappings have occured in my home town, and to be honest I never use escorts as they bring unwanted attention, but this time I felt safer with them. Going to the track we had to drive thru an area of town that is well know for kidnappings/highjackings and having 3 fancy cars together could tempt someone into wanting a joyride and make a few buck holding myself for ransom.

In case you're wondering why has this become an issue lately, it's simple. your goverment is forcing mexico into stopping drug traficking into the USA, thus making drugs more expensive and less of a business, now drug cartels need to diversify their income, and they now use mafia tactics selling protection and performing kidnappings.

I have heard and read about this many times. It is amazing to see how it hits so close to home in the NSX community.
