Hey there NSX fam!
I unfortunately do not own a NSX however I had the pleasure of building a one off custom exhaust and intake for a customer recently. I figured I would just share my work here and get some of your critiques and comments about the work done. It's a full stainless steel exhaust setup. It has 2 race cats (1 for each bank...) V-banded to the rest of the system which is mostly 2.25" stainless piping to two vibrant stainless resonators into a "X" pipe which then opens up to 2.5" into two Borla mufflers which later again opens up to 3" for about a 3 inches into quad 3" staggered polish tips. All hand made, hand polished and pie cut welds in contrast with the mandrel bent "X" pipe that is polished like the mufflers, resonators and tips. Rest is a satin finish. The system weighed in at an impressive 35lbs in comparison to the nearly 75lbs factory system including the cats. For the intake I simply made a heat shield/box that slides into the factory bottom half of the air box and welded up a 3" to 3.5" short stainless tube that connects to a 3.5"-6" bellmouth velocity stack with a K&N air filter. I still mean to put some weather stripping on the heat shield to make a seal against that "parcel shelf?" when I change out the silicone bits to all black as I ran out of black pieces upon building the components. Here are some sounds clips as well...
