No real pics of the wash process.. But I cleaned the wheels with P21S and tires/wheel wells with eimann fabrik. Unfortunately the previous owner of the car didn't pay attention to the delicate anondized finish on the volk rims, and the red lips were ruined with stains :shakehead: . The car was foamed with CWC:

Then washed with the 2BM and then brought inside for claying with riccardo yellow.

I then inspected the paint:

After some trial and error I came up with M105 with Yellow so1o wool + GI EVP, followed with PowerFinish on 3M UK Yellow, and then M205 on 3M UK Blue.

Odds and ends:

Interior was cleaned with 1Z CockpitPremium, BRIDE seats were vacuumed/lint rolled, carpets cleaned with CG Citrus Pad/Microfiber cleaner, tires dressed with Megs HD 1:1, wheels polished with Werkstat Prime and Sealed with Acrylic.

LSP for this car was Blackfire AFPP followed with RBOE. I discovered a new technique to use when applying RBOE.

Thanks for looking!

As always, C/C Welcome!

Looks beautiful!
But some of the terms you used are completely foreign to me.
Please translate "After some trial and error I came up with M105 with Yellow so1o wool + GI EVP, followed with PowerFinish on 3M UK Yellow, and then M205 on 3M UK Blue."

What is M105 with yellow sol1o wool +gi evp? 3M UK Yellow? and so forth..

Thanks!

yes, please translate the terms and please list the products you used. I need to do the same thing for my black 91 nsx as well and its as swirley as yours ! hope to hear from you soon.. great job on the car, it worked out really well 1

Holy crap! You are a master! Looks unbelievable. How long did the process take?

Geez... what the heck. Did the previous owner wash it with a scotch bright pad? Definitely look 1000% better...

Back in high school, a friend's girl friend surprised him by washing his newly painted car... with Comet.

Surprise!

Back on topic, your car looks 100% better.

Thanks for the compliments. M105 is Meguiars 105 Ultra Cut Compound. Yellow So1o Wool is a Meguiars So1o brand wool pad. GI EVP= Gloss-It EVP pad prime spray. Powerfinish is a Menzerna polish. 3M UK Yellow is a type of buffing pad as well as 3M UK Blue. M205 is Meguairs Ultimate Finishing Polish 205

Was this all done by hand or with the machine? Hard to believe it is the same car. Do you have plans for the red lips or do you like the look?

Great job!!!

Thanks! I did this car with machine. I would direct questions towards Darryl--I'm not sure what he plans on doing!
