Deleting the muffler & Cats?

I was thinking of making two custom pipes from the headers out.( No cats/mufflers)

I saw somebody did this on one of the NSX meet, it didnt sound too loud.

What do you guys think?
On performance, sound, etc???

I believe Doug Hayashi got his car dynoed with higher number with mufller than with straight pipe. ICBW
