I usually bring my car in for services to a local mechanic in the Bay Area, but since I started to work from home, I have more time on my hands than I'd like. Thus, I have decided to perform some of the more routinized maintenance work myself, and maybe a few other projects that I might want to try along the road. Thus, I decided to create this thread for myself and others to help myself and others who are in the same situation. Also, this could be a good reminder of what parts goes where.

Dexter

Current progress:
sound system back to normal, and then some
Kenwood or Alpine Deck (may either replace or stay with stock),
10" JBL Subs & more

Post Progress:
repair or replace front scratched lower lip
replace fender liners (not necessary, but would like to give it a try)
fix driver seat small rip
replace door weather gasket (not leaking but might help with wind noise)
replace the drop in HID kit with OEM ballasts, ignitors, and bulbs
replace bilstein shocks (not broken but might help with the stiffness of the eibach springs)

Post Post Progress
possibly custom CF center consol
possibly custom CF door control consol
possibly some Stacy sides w/DF CF side splitters
Stoptech or Futura Brakes BBK
Red Stitching Interior
Redo Seats (not necessary, but would like a harder leathery feel)
NavPod w/transflective screen

and maybe more no?.... tune in.

It has been awhile since I been back on my journal.

Some minor and major simple "fix its" were brought to my attention just today, which I was unfamiliar with till now.

Right rear axle boot leak
Oil Pan Gasket leak
vtec valve leak
Clutch? (not tracking the car, so maybe not necessary)
Climate Control (Send to BrianK)
20% left on rear brakes
Window jams need regreasing
Coolant Reservoir Tank (Crack at mounting area)
Radio (Send to BrianK)

DIY? or Shop?

Will try to keep up here. And the fun continues!
