A Mafia Godfather finds out that his bookkeeper has cheated him out of ten million bucks. His bookkeeper is deaf. That was the reason he got the job in the first place. It was assumed that a deaf bookkeeper would not hear anything that he might have to testify about in court. When the Godfather goes to confront the bookkeeper about his missing $10 million, he brings along his attorney, who knows sign language.

The Godfather tells the lawyer, "Ask him where the 10 million bucks he embezzled from me is."

The attorney, using sign language, asks the bookkeeper where the money is.

The bookkeeper signs back, "I don't know what you are talking about."

The attorney tells the Godfather, "He says he doesn't know what you're talking about."

The Godfather pulls out a pistol, puts it the bookkeeper's temple and says, "Ask him again!"

The attorney signs to the bookkeeper, "He'll kill you if you don't tell him!"

The bookkeeper signs back, "OK! You win! The money is in a brown briefcase, buried behind the shed in my cousin Enzo's backyard in Queens!"

The Godfather asks the attorney, "Well, what'd he say?"

The attorney replies, "He says you don't have the balls to pull the trigger."

:biggrin: Thats hilarious......great joke.....errrr right? :eek::biggrin:

Ohh, this is a joke? I thought this was just a recount of a typical day for a lawyer.

No, if that were the case, there would be a part in the story about how the attorney got the money and still charged the Godfather by the hour for signing.

If it were a doctor he would only be able to charge the book keeper a 25 dollar co pay and have to pay the interpreter 75 bucks plus travel time. The money in the case would belong to the insurance company.

A Dentist would get all the money in the case up front.

A contractor would take 1/2 the money up front and you wouldn't see him again for a month then he would come back for 1/2 of whats left in the case then you might never see him again.

A landlord will raise the rent an extra 33% for section 8 housing to offest the taxes. :D :D

Kind of hard to do when section 8 regulates how much you can charge:biggrin: and often times forces you to include things you can control like heat and electric.

Charge them for the air they breath while in the rental.

Car dealers would give you the case for free and charge 11 million for the options inside after showing an invoice to you for 12 million.:biggrin:

Exactly. I just lost and saved you 1 million dollars by charging you $1 million below invoice. By the way Steve, did I mention our doc fee is $1 million?
