I am about to get a set of PF01's for the street/track and, while I have no problems picking the correct rears (18-9.5-45), I am hesitating between 17-7.5-45, 17-7.5-38 and 17-8-45 for the fronts. I need to clear my Brembo Indy brakes and have more front tire choices. Would appreciate experience feedback. Thanks

I got the PF01 in 17x8 in front, 18x10.5 rear

Thanks Angus,
A few questions:
1. Do your sizes work with a BB kit ? (I presume both are 45mm offset)
2. Don't you have to use a 280/30 tire on those 10.5" rims ?
3. Does the 17-8" rub in the front (I presume your car is lowered) ?
4. What tire did you use on the front ?

Thanks

- I think it should clear any BBK in the world...

- I do have a 285/30/18's

- the 17x8 will not cause any rubbing - it is tire size that could cause rubbing if you go too big.

- I run 205/40/17 (toyo R-888)

*I just thought 205 is a little narrow for an 8" wide rim, don't you think ?

Here is a couple shots of my fronts, as I said, the R888 is way wider than any other 205, even wider than some 215's

I'd looked at these pretty seriously, but I'm not sure the rear wheels have enough concavity (read "any concavity") for my taste. Hell of a value though and I like the design better than the RPF1 for similar price/weight.

angus,

Please post some mounted pictures when you can.

In case I don't trade my NSX for the '70 Challenger Convertible, I am thinking about these wheels and would love to see what they look like on an NSX.

Thanks!
