For me the opposite is true. The little enhancements seem to give it a more distinct and finished look.

The F430 looks okay, since it's a bit boy racer in layout, but the 599 looks better stock. It's a big GT sports car, not a mid-engine racecar like the F430.

Little known trivia, the guys who started Novitec Rossi, came from Ruf. I guess Ruf has spawned quite a few start-ups. And Ruf is also now a Ferrari/Maserati dealer too.
