Fuel pump noise....

I recently noticed a slight whine from my fuel pump when the car is at idle...Is this normal, or is my fuel pump getting ready to quit on me?

I am not 100 percent sure but I believe that the pump is supposed to make a little noise. The reason I was replying was to see if you would like to see if yourself and any of the other local nsx'rs would like to get together sometime to check each other's cars out or go for a curuise. I just moved back to Raleigh from Wilmington.Let me know.
