Big differences across. But headers is the big player in NA power.

underappreciated post...especially for us NA2 guys having to buy aftermarket NA1 headers and figuring out how to make it all work

Those pictures really do illustrate just how hideous the NA1 cast iron stock headers are!

Personally, if I had a NA2 I would likely be content with the factory tubular steel headers and just mount a lightweight muffler out back...
