According to a Parts Manager at a local NSX dealership, the cost to upgrade/replace the front end of an NSX with the 2002 face-lift is ~$6,000. This cost includes all needed items (i.e. hood, bumper, lights, quarter panels etc.).

American Honda is stating the 2002 part numbers are the SAME as pre-2002 part numbers.

It was also mentioned the rear spats would also fit.

Pursuant to my conversation with the parts department,it my understanding all panel and necessary hardware is available to upgrade to the 2002 look.

Would you spend the money to upgrade the front and rear of your NSX?

So is it safe assume then that the hood will not need to be replaced?

Uhh... I think I'd rather plunk that $6K into the baschboost. Everyone seems to be arguing over whether the "new" or the "old" look is better, but NOBODY seems to be complaining about the extra ponies from the blower =)

6G's includes the hood? Isn't that awfully cheap? I'm assuming that painting is NOT included?

Let's see...the front conversion $6k + lower door panels $2k + rear conversion $2k + good paint job $2k = $12,000 Doesn't anyone care about making their car payments anymore? I rather use that money to pay off this darn auto loan!!!

Ok guys: My car is ready, and I will be taking pictures tomorrow morning, they will be send to Lud and Bill tomorrow as well.
I think a lot of you will change your minds after you see those pics,I only have one word to say of what I saw yesterday at the body shop and is AWESOME.

A couple of remarks.
Hood: Needs to be replaced, unless is Fiberglass of carbon that allows for modification.
Rear Valance:Bolt on.
Front Fenders: No need to buy new ones.
Front Bumper: Needs to be replaced unless is fiberglass of carbon.

Enrique

Although the new headlights are sharp looking, won't you miss the pop up lights?
