You see many similarities in mclaren/Acura nsx these days. I don't mind the front too much. But damn, the sides and rear are bout it! What a sexy ass car. Carbon skeleton and carbon everywhere! I have seen a few P1's but this one here is the hottest car. I could only imagine how it looks in person.

It's the only one for sale in N. America. This one and some other junker pulled into last month's Cars and Coffee. And I've seen a red one at the local Ferrari Dealership. However, I doubt there are as many of these as there are Mustangs, Cameros and Corvettes. But, I agree with you. As much as I like the McLaren the La F car does look better. The Porsche 918 isn't bad either.

Where the Acura and the McLaren diverge are maintenance cost and frequency. These things have developed a horrible reputation over the last several years...kind of like Lotus did in the 80's.

I find this thread quite entertaining. Personally the Greatest McLaren is the F1. Nothing, I repeat nothing comes close to it. Not the Enzo, or the Laugher(La Ferr), or the P1.

Comparing the 3 modern Hypercars(P1, La Ferrari, 918): I have seen all 3 cars in person, ridden a P1, driven a Carrera GT but not driven any of the hypercars, IMHO the P1 is best looking, the LaF is the best sounding(918 is close) and the 918 is most technologically sophisticated. The P1 is faster than the LaF even though most mags don't think so. The CGT was faster than the P1 at Laguna Seca. That was posted on Motor Trend and completely unbiased since both cars are owned by the same guy.

Completely agree that the F1 is the absolute peak of exoticar building to date. Unbelievable machine. And it seats 3!

The F1 is legend. I'd still prefer a P1 even though a f1 would fetch 3x the cost of a P1. The F1 just has a funky ass interior with the drivers seat/ two child's seats on each adjacent side.

Agreed. The 3-seat configuration just looks weird to me.
