• ***Text Box Error UPDATE*** Folks- we were able to fix the underlying issue with the missing text box on the forum. Everything should be back to normal. - Honcho

How hard is it to find this...

There are VERY few. Check the FAQ production numbers. I know that there is only one in 98 and a guy in N.Y. owns it. He posts here.... I'd guess that there are less than 7 total....

Do you mean less than 7 from 1997 until present? Oh man!!!

I was inquiring about ordering one with my own specs at my local ACURA dealer and the sales guy said it could be done and would take 4-6 weeks...

Anyone hear/know anyhting different? I was hoping to be able to find a nice used one...so I didn't have to take the depreciation hit, luxury tax...gas guzzler, etc...I mean, a used NSX is just as good as a new one if you ask me. Of course it depends on the car.

All coupes are special order. There is only one blue coupe as well, unless someone else has recently special ordered another.

Basically, unless you're really, really lucky, your options for getting a coupe are as follows:

1. Order a new one from your dealer

2. Buy a used Zanardi (only available in red)

3. Buy a '91-94 coupe.

REALLY? Man, nothing against the T owners here, but I don't care for a missing roof in my performance cars. But that's just my preference. Well, I guess when the time comes I might just have to order one.

Does anyone know anyone who has done that? How was the experience?

scottjua, personal option here, but the great thing about the "t" is that it is a roof when you want a roof! sounds like you have done your homework, but its nice to take the top off if you want without the convertible issues.

I had a 93 that was stolen and replaced as soon as I could with a 95-t. I never thought i would say it but i am glad the 93 got stolen! Nothing beats being able to take the targa off on those beautiful sunny days.
