How to remove wax?

I just waxed my wife's car this weekend and she went and got a nice ding down to the metal on Monday.

I need to remove the wax before I put some touch up on.

Whats the best way to do that? I tried some dish soap but that didn't seem to take it off all the way.

Thoughts?

In the past, I've used Dawn liquid dish washing detergent. I mentioned this before, and I think some one made some negative comments about this method. Don't remember, but it worked for me.

50/50 mix of household alocohol and water. Works great and cheap.

Recommended by a rep of a major detailing "m"anufacturer for penny pinching owners

Hrant- Aren't you in the wrong forum? Shame on you! LOL.

I use Griots Garage Paint Prep for removing the wax. I use it every year before I clay the car before my "spring waxing event". That way I always have a fresh clean surface to wax. Check it out at Griotsgarage.com or 800-345-5789.
