Interesting ITB set up Toda (intake)

I found this on one of the cars in Japan, I thought it was an interesting design in regards to the intake. I am not sure if it would serve much purpose?

Anyways, they are probably trying to maximize the volume of air funneled in the direction of the ITBs (with their mesh "filters").

I'd need to look up pics of the old arms engineering show car from about 04 or 05 that did have a very nice itb setup

It's fashionable. like a decade ago here it was "baller" to have a RHD car. (although now it's common)
