i hope my car is repaired in time :frown:
Since the event is being held on a boat, having your NSX in working order is not a requirement for attendance. :D Come anyway! If it's not ready yet, you'll have 40+ friends ready to commiserate with you! :)

Now 46 Attendees!!!

Please include Mark & Ann to the list!

Paid via Paypal.

(2) “Steak & Lobster” please!

Do many plan on getting a room?
What's the overnight parking situation going to be like?

Thanks!

>Would like to get a room, but what's the overnight parking situation going to be like?<

Mark:

I'm also thinking about getting a room on the ship. Considering that it will be evening and few will see the NSX anyway, I don't plan on taking it.

We are also getting a room, without the NSX. There is a $10 charge to park overnight (dinner includes daytime parking). I know there is a parking garage close, but I am not sure what the cost is for it, sorry!

How many folks plan on taking their cars? I have reservations to stay overnight also, but am unsure whether I want to drive mine and have it sit there overnight.

We plan to take the wife's NSX, i'm to lazy to take my track wheels off mine.
We also plan to stay on the boat. I just assume it was an NSX event, so bring the NSX. I can understand why some might not want to bring their cars. -Paul

I plan to bring my NSX (will we have a roped off section of the parking lot?), but now it looks like my friend Pete will be going as my guest since Valerie is going out of town on business that weekend. :(

Good thing Pete likes steak and lobster. :p

I'll be there with my nsx and my other sweetie !
I have the cabin reserved and have sent off the form with dollars to cover dinners !
Thanks Gil for noticing my name missing !
Myself and Dorene appreciate it !

Just an FYI in case anyone is still thinking about getting a room on the ship. "First class" staterooms are sold out, but they still have "deluxe queen" staterooms available. I booked mine yesterday.

Dave, I had a tough time getting through to booking on the ship, so I asked to be transferred to the (main booking office, not on board ship through the ships operator) or call (866) 235-4515
Outside 1st Class King Staterooms are still available.
If you have AAA its still a good deal. $152.00
Just an update in case anyone still needs a room.

See you there

Worked like a charm Mark - thanks!

What is the expected attire for this event (men and women)?

I'm bringing my NSX and I’m still trying to get a room too. Hard to get through and the off-ship reservation desk would not give me the discount rate. I'm waiting for the on-ship desk to call me back.

See you there,

Sally & Mario

A quick update!

Date & Time: Saturday January 13, 2007 at 6:30pm

Attire: Business-casual

Location: The Queen Mary - Chelsea Restaurant

Address:1126 Queen's Highway, Long Beach, Ca. 90802 (562) 435-3511

For specific driving directions, click here.

Don't forget to bring your thinking caps, since there is some very exciting things happening after dinner!!!

Here are some further instructions to get to our special parking area (which is right by the Hotel Valet Parking area - don't worry, we park our own cars!)

When you get your parking ticket (don't forget to bring the ticket to dinner so they will validate it!)
Make an IMMEDIATE Left turn and drive directly towards the ship. When you get to the road that leads around to the Back of the ship (Queens highway) make a right and follow the road around to the Hotel entrance. Our parking area will be on the left just before the Valet area. They hope to have a sign posted for the NSX Group. I will try to have my silver NSX right by the driveway so you will know where to park. Here is a Photo of the parking lot with the directions shown.
