Junior40er's NSX: From then to now

Just came in today. Got so many projects going on at the same time and my garage is a mess.

Now its time to wire it into the car.

fuck it, another day.

OK, some I need some help here. I originally wanted to tap into fuel preassure regulator for boost readinfg but this is as far as the wire goes and would preffer not to cut and extend.

Can someone help me here with some info and tell me if I can tap into any of these lines for boost? Im thinking I can do this. Otherwise I might run a vaccuum line from here to FPR instead of extending the line. Thanks in advance.

OK. So I got gauges wired into car. Steering wheel is in and I washed the carpetsn and conditioned seats. I just need to drop off test pipe to muffler shop today to have bung welded in for wideband sensor.

Once that is back I can connect wideband sensor to wire I ran and its done and seats will go back in. Still waiting for my mirrors to come back from Jeff.

Once all that is complete I will start on doing brake upgrades:
*Hawk HP+ Pads front and back
*StopTech Brake Lines
*Downforce CF Brake Ducts

and then send car in to Ramon to have complete brake flush, including ABS system with ATE Super Blue.

I also have Downforce DF-R sidescoops coming in next week.

This week I pick up new Dunlop Starspecs from Tire Central since front is to worn out for CalCoastal drive.

this is a great thread. your cas is lucky to have you as the owner.

a few questions
1) white size steering wheels is that? 350?
2) what kind of speakers are those

surprisingly im getting used to the tan interior!

keep the updates coming :)

good job Adrian, I like this thread and that faithful dog in the garage. Is that your dog?
Yes sir. I took that pic the week I rescued him from the local animal shelter and he was 3 months old in that pic. His name is Nook.

Here is a pic of him from last week while at the park next to my other dog "Jack-E" (her dads name was Jack, thats why its spelled that way).

Here is a pic of wideband sensor installed. Just removed test pipe and sent to local shop to weld in bung for me.

All that is left is to wait for my brake pads and fluid to come in. Wait for my side mirrors to come back in and also have DF-R side scoops on way in. Then I can do final inspections and clean up and it will be ready for its next event.

Only thing that sucks, even after sourcing good ignition and ground source is that I hear a little whine on my speakers (does not change with RPM so I doubt its a grounding issue.). I might re route some wire later on since I think its running pretty close to my low level signal to amp. That will happen later since I only notice with stereo on AND volume near 0.

you've probably tried it but i would suggest moving the wires around and try to avoid running the speaker wires alongside the power cable. and of course make all cables especially the speaker cables are shielded.

Thanks.

Im kind of stuck since im waiting for Brake pads, fluids, DF-R sidescoops and my mirrors. They will all get here friday hopefully (some parts, others later) so that leaves me with just a few days to install them all and do a brake flush with new fluid. Kind of sucks.

To save time I removed rear brake calipers since I already removed front and get ready for brake job. I also went ahead and removed OEM sidescoop and now waiting for new one. Wow, was that a HUGE PITA!!

New tires up front. I have Michelin pilot super sport onrear because at the time they couldnt get z1 starspec for a week and needed a tire asap. 1 trackday with this setup and no issues.

Then Hawk HP+ and ATE fluid came in.

Car is complete and just waiting for side ducts to come in later this week.
Im not boosting where I should (3psi right now) so im looking into that but idle is good and no surges so maybe my gauge is having issues?
