Motor area cooling fan : keep it or not ?

For the one that have lighten their NSX for track use, should I keep the cooling fan of the motor area (the one in the right rear fender ?) for track use ? How usefull is this fan as cooling device ?

The fan was eliminated in 95 I think--definitely gone in NA2s. That should tell you it's essentially useless. If you're concerned about weight just yank it. Saves about 2.5 lbs.
